A car just drove into the side doors of 770 at Chabad Headquarters. Baruch Hashem, there are no injuries. Witnesses report the driver yelled for people to move as he drove in. It appears intentional. The synagogue has been evacuated as a precaution. Please stay away from the area while authorities ensure there are no additional threats. Driver was arrested.

Chino Valley Fire responded at 3:44 PM to an apparent explosion on the 4200 block of Sierra Vista Dr. One home has major damage; nearby homes minor damage. 4 people were transported, 4 others self-transported. 16 homes were temporarily evacuated.

Around 6 PM this evening Lifeguards responded to a 35-40’ Fin whale inside the surf line near Torrance Beach. The Marine Mammal Care Center & National Marine Fisheries Service were notified shortly after spotting the whale & responded to assess its condition. (1/2)
