@CormacCWall @dublin_damo Must try Genoa, agree Naples is a little more touristy, but very easy to get away from it. My favourite city, just such fun.

@dublin_damo But it's still hugely authentic and some areas have improved compared to 12 years ago like quart' Espanola used to be a no go. I think Genoa is still very well preserved due to its non existent reputation. But again lets see if the new 50min train from Milan changes that a bit

Time to go, Naples has been a blast, in ways, it's misplaced reputation as a dangerous kip is its saviour, retains an authenticity and charm that some other big Italian cities have lost, I adore the place.

Was going to do a day trip tomorrow, but I've done Pompeii, etc., in the past, and Naples has enough to keep me interested for months, let alone a few days, so I want to keep digging and exploring tomorrow.
