It’s out there now - the first study to really show that on more natural (micron) scales, the position of bacterial colonies hugely influences how they fare when facing other colonies! This also covers cool news on an E.coli “sacrificial shield”. #bacteria #3Dprinting #ecology

It's out! Camin and I reviewed the 17 synaptotagmin isoforms (in fruit flies, mice, rats, humans) to look beyond just vesicle fusion. There is so much more to explore – >70% of all PubMed entries on Syts focus only on isoforms 1, 2, and 7! 🧐 doi.org/10.1016/j.conb…

It's out – a cell viability-friendly 3D printing method for studying human iPSC-derived astrocyte-neuron interactions. In this study, astrocytes enhanced the later developmental event of axon bundling to form neural tracts. Linna is already putting together the next manuscript!
