Two flights in 8 hours cancelled by Air Canada for mechanical reasons. No more confidence in @AirCanada and yet I don’t have a fucking choice if I want to go to Montreal or Toronto bc @united is too lazy to go there. Missing time with my mother that I can’t get back

@AirCanada you canceled two (2!!) flights I was on today. What the actual fuck? I want to spend time with my mother and you’re killing that. Now I spend 18 hours for what should be an 8 hour trip

@LocasaleLab My wife was on this trial. Stage 4 panc cancer, 40 years old. She was in this trial and lived 18 months after chemo stopped working. We took trips to Spain, Disney, Jersey Shore. She got two more birthdays with our kids. Shove your hype and misrepresentation up your ass.

This is exactly the kind of hype and misrepresentation that has defined cancer research and oncology for decades. After 40+ years of work and well over $100B in taxpayer funding, what’s being presented as a revolution is a survival improvement of about 6–7 months. Patients don’t even get an additional birthday. This is now being hyped by the biotech industry and amplified by academic scientists as if it represents some fundamental breakthrough. It doesn’t. What’s even more concerning is that almost no one is calling this out. The same narrative gets repeated, the same approaches get reinforced, and the same cycle continues. Billions of taxpayer dollars will continue to fund this. Venture capital will continue to flow into biotech companies built around these claims. Pharma will continue to allocate time and resources here. Healthcare expenses for the public will continue to be greater than ever. Meanwhile, entire areas of cancer research and oncology practice—particularly early detection and prevention—remain neglected.

🚨🚨🚨 RASOLUTE-302 Ph3 is POSITIVE "Daraxonrasib demonstrated a median OS of 13.2 months versus 6.7 months for chemotherapy, with a hazard ratio of 0.40 (p < 0.0001)".... WOW! AMAZING news for patients with #PancreaticCancer The RAS Revolution is ON!! ir.revmed.com/news-releases/…

Excited to share MaxToki, a temporal AI model that predicts the impact of perturbations on cell states over time along dynamic trajectories. We applied MaxToki to predict how cells age across the human lifespan & discovered new cardiac pro-aging drivers that we validated in vivo.

Hi @united UA1844 1/31/2026 does not have screen power and the rear restrooms (it’s a 757) are non-functional (only one now for the entire economy set). We’ve paid a lot including those of us in business. I’m returning from a family tragedy and was hoping for better.

N.B. This mosaic artwork depicts various cellular components as distinctly colored and textured pieces within a circular frame, with a dividing cell at the center surrounded by organelles and molecular structures. The image represents how the GAUDI algorithm transforms disparate multi-omics data types into a unified biological understanding—each mosaic piece symbolizes different omics layers (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) that maintain their unique characteristics while forming a cohesive whole. Our algorithm's name honors Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, famous for creating stunning mosaics from broken ceramic pieces—similarly, GAUDI reveals interpretable patterns from fragmented biological information.

Multi-omic data integration is hard. GAUDI is a new tool that helps scientists analyze multiple types of biological data from cells all at once.

@bettieliu @WJGreenleaf The most important! Incidentally the Meis motif you call (TGACA) is also a T-box motif (see Luna-Zurita et al 2016) so that in combination with another could also be relevant to other cell types.

@benoitbruneau @WJGreenleaf TBX motifs do show up as significantly enriched motifs in the ATAC marker peaks in an aCM cluster in the heart and an excitatory neuron cluster in the brain (Supp note 2) as well -- they are indeed important motifs for development
