@TimKalyegira @EngMichael1993 @HMunguryek It's absurd that you explain it based on tribal lines rather than looking at the recent gains Northerners have gained from NRM compared to the past. We are beyond tribal given intermarriages and internal migration.

@EngMichael1993 @HMunguryek The answer is that there is bad blood between northern Uganda and Buganda dating back to 1966. Also, if I may risk saying so, northerners still hold strongly to the cliché of "Baganda are thieves". So to Northerners, better the new devil called NRM than the old enemy of 1966.
