@katebevan Yes! This has been my take since I tried to correct Bing chat's arithmetic error and it responded with "I'm sorry to hear you get a different value for the sum... Maybe you have made a mistake somewhere in your calculation..."

Just been on a call talking about generative AI and how we might use it, and I am pleased with my point that "ChatGPT is basically mansplaining. It takes superficial inputs and turns them into sounding very confident on stuff it knows bugger all about."

@AnnetteRDowd That's pretty cool. But it would have been nice to have controls to show they are recording what they think they are recording. Using a dummy or someone who cannot hear to ensure they aren't just recording and recapitulating interference from the headphones, or power fluctuations
