Worst is not that Montague hasn't lived or paid taxes in our city entire term, or that he lives over 400km away, or even his horrible decisions when he does show up. Worse, as other Canadians suffer & boycott, BM was on leave from his tax-paid job to leisure in US for a month.

I don’t think I want someone in charge of city revenue that can’t even spell “services” correctly. You’d think the mayor could use some of his $1.5 million office budget for a proofreader. 😂

This week, opposition councillors blocked a decision that would've unlocked 4,100+ housing units for Vancouverites while creating a new non-tax revenue source that could have gone towards funding city services and critical infrastructure. To say their decision was shortsighted and irresponsible would be an understatement. We won't lose sight of the important goals here. Our focus is, and will always be, on delivering housing, affordability, and fiscal responsibility for the people of Vancouver.

No, opposition tried to amend those revenues to prioritize public benefits. Who trusts ABC priorities? (checks list): Bloated mayor's office; Buy bitcoin w/ city $; Ban supportive housing; Get rid of Park Board, Integrity Commissioner, renter's office, equity office; etc.

The Van Park Board has made a misguided decision to bring a trademarked Harry Potter experience to Stanley Park this winter. As a Queer woman and a strong Trans ally, this is unacceptable. JKR pours her fortune into actively harming Trans Folks #TransRights #ProtectTransKids

@mimebass It’s simple. She owns the rights to and gets money from everything with the Harry Potter name. She then spends her money on fanning the flames of hate towards Trans people. I don’t know a single Trans person or Trans Ally who is ok with her or that franchise.

@mimebass I’m not assuming anything. If you knowingly put money into something that harms others, then you are displaying your values. Having friends in the community doesn’t mean you share their values. Ask some of your Trans friends how they feel about you going.

@AnnetteReilly It’s so unfair to assume my values are bad. It’s like judging someone’s values for liking other books or movies, or buying alcohol. I don’t agree with JK Rowling, I have friends in the community, and I love Harry Potter. That doesn’t make me a bad person or with bad values 🙄
