BREAKING: Unrealized losses on investment securities for US banks reached $512.9 billion in Q2 2024. This is 7 TIMES higher than at the peak of the 2008 Financial Crisis. Q2 2024 also marked the 11th consecutive quarter of unrealized losses as interest rates continued to pressure the economy. Bank of America, the second-largest lender in the US, now accounts for $110.8 billion of held-to-maturity securities with unrealized losses, or 20% of the total. Meanwhile, the number of banks on the FDIC Problem Bank List increased to 66 in Q1 2024, or 1.5% of the aggregate. Unrealized losses held by banks remain a major issue.

People on the verge of suicide, insane addicts, people that cause widespread harm due to screen, trading, porn, sex, or substance addictions: nothing new in this world of course, but particularly widespread in this space due to the overload of young unstable men active in it. Just know that things can get really out of hand in this space. Please take care of yourself. We are all the same species, and we all came in this world as babies with a delicate soul. Please take care of yourself and your fellow man or crypto trader friends if you can, ask sometimes how they are really doing, be kind, and if you see things going the wrong way, please act (or on yourself, or kindly point it out in friend) . Sometimes addressing something early saves a lot of problems in the future Love & kindness are important, even in a space as vicious as the one in which we operate.
