The ADHD dream career is being a highly paid consultant who swoops in, solves a complex crisis with a chaotic stroke of genius, and immediately exits before having to fill out the timesheets.

@random_eddie the bit about the AI handwriting model fine tuning the Dead Sea scrolls is interesting…but seems like it would be just AI-assisted conjecture?

The most advanced technology in the world has progressive views and conservatives’ only takeaway from this is to get mad.

I'm happy you're in America and happy to work alongside you in the American project. I mostly feel the same way about Mamdani, with some caveats, and I strongly do not feel the same way about Tlaib. Ultimately, I think it's important that if someone puts forward a civic-nationalist view of America, they have some limiting principle such that there is something a person must believe to be American, and Tlaib falls short of my limiting principle by treating the US as fundamentally oppressive, its government as fundamentally evil, and the foreign nation she comes from as being clearly and distinctly her people in a way she does not extend to the US.

I love the saying that some people are "born American, but in the wrong place," and the vision of America as united not by ethnicity, but by a shared commitment to a national ideal. That is why it is extremely hard for me to see Rashida Tlaib as an American.
TheBlaze@theblaze

Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib: “The political structures that we are surrounded by were built on slavery and genocide and oppression. Look at this room, motherf******. We aren’t going anywhere. Now we’re in Congress and every corner of the United States.”

@uckema you’re not wrong at all, but in that grunt’s defense, Radio Free is a thin-skinned pompous blowhard whose opinions are often laughably stupid.

Yes, yes we get it. You were infantry. You realize what part of an integrated military and half of you guys would be able to do your fun stuff if the smart people in the Navy weren't operating carrier so you guys had air strikes

You’re right, I’ve never been to Harvard. I was too busy getting this. You know, the credential you want but can’t have. For the rest of you, Join The Infantry. Don’t become an envious academic partisan pig like Tom.
