When you camp in the left lane, you encourage people to start driving like this.

Hard to put into words what happened yesterday. I had zero awareness of the car that nearly brushed us on the right. In a fraction of a second it moved us from the middle lane into the left lane. My wife and I were completely speechless. We’re both safe because of that reaction. If we had stayed in the lane, things could have gone very differently. This is the kind of moment that makes you trust the system.

@JamieBonkiewicz Entitled is not the right word. A right to is correct, which everyone in this country has.

@mymixtapez Isn’t this the chick that goes to those weird rituals in the woods?

@InvestingAddict Wrong, truth is most people don’t have the discipline to invest properly in individual stocks

@caitiedelaney My favorite part was when Matt Damon told the cyclops, you odyssey these nuts then tea bagged him.

@daviddunn177 Someone claiming to know a lot about something, likely knows nothing…. Experts tend to be humble and claim they don’t know everything so fuck Rod … fuck you too.

@Polymarket I hate having my camera on but it’s not that deep. This is why remote work continues to disappear and why employers are looking to AI to replace humans.

My sister has been saving for a house down payment for 6 years.
$500 a month. Every month. No exceptions.
She skipped vacations. Drove the same car for a decade. Packed lunch every single day.
Last month she finally hit $60,000.
She called me excited. Ready to start looking.
Then her realtor sent her the numbers.
Average home in her area: $520,000.
She needs $104,000 for 20% down to avoid PMI.
She's $44,000 short. After 6 years of sacrifice.
She asked me what she did wrong.
Nothing. She did everything right.
The finish line just moved faster than she could run.
She's 34. Single. No kids. Good job. Perfect credit.
And she's still not enough for a system that keeps adjusting the rules mid-game.

@katefeetie Problem has always been and will always be doctor offices and hospitals. Insurance is a problem too but not the root problem

@ZacksJerryRig I’m pretty sure it’s the high capex concerning investors, not the products themselves

If you have a second home in New York City worth more than $5M, check your mailbox when you’re back in the five boroughs — because you've got mail.
Today, we sent notification letters to property owners, letting them know that our new pied-à-terre tax is coming soon.
The best city in the world deserves the best parks, libraries, and schools in the world. That's only possible when we all pay our fair share.
