Just a close call with a major gas leak almost blowing up an entire neighborhood not far from me, every valley smelling like gas at night, trashed roads, no economic benefit, a few earthquakes, and nonstop rumble from trucks, fracking equipment, and drilling rigs. And then there’s the helicopter that buzzes the treeline every month inspecting all the pipelines.





Hard to put into words what happened yesterday. I had zero awareness of the car that nearly brushed us on the right. In a fraction of a second it moved us from the middle lane into the left lane. My wife and I were completely speechless. We’re both safe because of that reaction. If we had stayed in the lane, things could have gone very differently. This is the kind of moment that makes you trust the system.
