My entry for @thebeaksart's Art Contest. Y'all meet "Ogbókùrú" (The Keeper Beneath the Folded Veil) She was called Ogbókùrú. No one knows Her true face. It is said that every fold wrapped around Her head is not cloth, but compressed memory -layers of forgotten wars, broken bloodlines, unfinished prophecies, and truths people buried to survive. The elders believed that to look upon Her real form was to remember everything humanity tried to erase. So the folds remained closed. Only one eye was left visible. That eye never blinked.
