This is insane. What we are witnessing is a global structure of obsessive and hallucinatory fixation on Israel that is pathological. The notion that governments and institutions across the world are expected to issue condemnations over an Israeli minister mocking activists who deliberately crossed into another country in order to stage and film their own arrest reflects a distortion of attention and a complete failure of basic moral reasoning. I will not pretend that this is normal, nor that it constitutes a "serious" instance of criminality demanding widespread condemnation.

Many people celebrating the Massie loss are ignoring the polls that show a majority of youth support. Polls show similar for Fishback. Yes, the youth eventually grow up and it’s very possible they’ll change, but I wouldn’t count on it. It’s hard to imagine someone going from believing Israel controls America in your 20s to Ted Cruz in your 40s.
