@AntEdwardsMN @TimGarrisonMN I care more about winning a championship than him coming back early and getting injured again
English

Honestly, I’d keep him out the next two games.
Wolves have some practice time with an extra days rest between games. Get him up to speed in practice, but don’t rush him back to game action.
Maybe you could get him back for the Mavericks game, but if they beat Houston tomorrow it absolutely allows the Wolves to continue with caution.

Anthony Edwards is here at Wolves practice today, but Chris Finch said he does not know when Edwards is returning.

@rgross1967 @Sean_Barnard1 Anthony Edwards was 7th in mvp voting 2 years ago and was the best player on a team that made the wcf. You think VJ is that good right now? I’m surprised you think that with how much more inefficient VJ is on way fewer shot attempts than Ant was 2 years ago. Lol
English

@Sean_Barnard1 VJ is Anthony Edwards from two yrs ago. Same dude!
He will be a more consistent version of Antman in two years.
English

@Richhkiddzy1 @JonKrawczynski Remember there’s like a week break between end regular season and playoffs as well.
English

@JonKrawczynski Any word on how important all nba is to him, and if they’ll at least try to get him to play the final 8 games to be award eligible?
English

@RussellT33 @TWolvesLead @BullsMuse_ So you’re saying Lenny is better than Gobert and Naz? The wolves have 12 better players than Leonard miller. Why would they give him more time than those others?
English

@TWolvesLead @BullsMuse_ He’s a PF, your paying Naz C. (cone on defense) and Gobert C. (cone on offense) $60 mil combined and then Randle $33 mil who pounds the ball, doesn’t pass and is also bad on defense.
Sounds like bad front office management and stubborn coaching by Finch not exploring the bench.
English

@Landonprice68 Yeah I agree. But I think it’s his body language that is the toughest to watch when he’s not playing well or if the offense isn’t running through him as much as he wants. I still think to make another deep run we need the best of Julius though. Benching him won’t solve everything
English

@AntEdwardsMN Idk Randle has been far too inconsistent for me to trust him as a 2nd option. His bad games are far too often and his bad games single handedly damn near lose us games.
English

@Landonprice68 The eye test wasn’t great because he turned it over a lot but if he cleans that up he can still have a very capable shooting performance vs them.
English

@AntEdwardsMN that was his first good game against OKC in a Wolves uniform out of like 11 games. Hes always bad against OKC
English

@Landonprice68 What are you talking about? He still had a few very good statistical games against them in the playoffs. 28-8-1 on 9/13 shooting, 24-4-3 on 9/15 shooting, and 24-5-3 on 8/14 shooting.
English

@Landonprice68 Just saw him cook I-hart and Chet last Sunday. Everyone has a bad series at some point.
English

@AntEdwardsMN Yeah man cause Randles physicality worked really well against OKC
English

@CoachBGonzo I’ll add, we also have the deepest 12 man unit if you include Joan, TSJ, Clark. You can throw about 12 guys out there without holding your breath.
English

The Minnesota Timberwolves have the Best 9 Man Rotation in their Franchise’s History Right Now. Can Finch put the Pieces together to make everything fit?
Ayo Dosunmu 6’5
Anthony Edwards 6’4
Jaden McDaniels 6’10
Julius Randle 6’9
Rudy Gobert 7’2
Naz Reid 6’8
Donte Divincenzo 6’4
Bones Hyland 6’3
Kyle Anderson 6’9

@krazyboyz100 @JakeLaymanStan @AvenueVikings @UsherNBA Minnesota has the best record vs the two top teams in the west and best team in the east other than the pistons. 6-3 this year vs those 3 teams. No Cade in our 2 upcoming pistons games tho
English

@WyattzWorId We don’t go 2-1 vs SA or 2-2 vs okc without Ant though. We’re closer to a 8-9 seed .500 team without him.
English

@TateTakes @DaneMooreNBA Without McDaniels tonight we would’ve lost 😂
English

@DaneMooreNBA Randle mcdaniels and DiVincenzo can leave this team and I wouldn’t lose an ounce of sleep
English

The Wolves without Ant are proving to be a very low-wattage offense when they face good, physical defenses. You could see it in the loss against Portland on Friday, and they just scored 14 points in the 1st quarter against Boston.
The Wolves themselves need to play good, physical defense to have a shot in these games -- because that good physical defense, leads to more transition opportunities on offense, which means fewer possessions in the halfcourt against a set defense.
English

@Ben_Tlatz @KyleTheige We’ve always played Boston at full strength in Boston. Tatum isn’t full strength. Last year I believed we went to overtime in Boston without Rudy on a back to back with a delayed flight.
