Even though you’re at liberty to disagree with the Pope on contingent matters of political prudence, if you can’t allow yourself to at least be challenged by his exhortations you should consider the possibility that you may be putting ideology before the faith

Well, my baby Adelaide Bede was born 3 days ago, and we learned 15 mins after her birth (w/ no clue during pregnancy) that she almost certainly has Down Syndrome So I'd say I'm pretty qualified to talk (She's the cutest thing I've ever seen and is already a bundle of joy, btw)

Now, apply that to the corruption that comes with many of the narratives encouraging to marriage (or even the priesthood/religious life, although to a lesser degree)...it all comes from a corrpution of the notion of love of the common good.
