@RosserJobs If you are in the Indy area, unless you want to travel, there is no reason not to play every weekend at Grand Park. Great facilities, great competition and convenient. I'm a big fan of going there.

A lot of travel ball chatter lately. Our 11 yo plays “travel” baseball. We leave the state once per season, usually. Most games are 15 minutes away at Grand Park. It does eat up a lot of weekends. For us, usually around 10 tournaments. But there are a lot of “travel ball” teams playing mostly local. As he gets older, if he’s good enough and still loves it, there would be more travel. We’ll see.

Observation from Jupiter.. 90-92mph does not phase high level HS hitters like it use to. The rise of the machines have made hitters more adaptable. I think the pendulum is about to swing back (if it hasn't already) to sinker/slider profiles, & guys who get ground balls.
