This is the head of one of the most successful hedge funds in history saying the people he pays seven figures to analyze markets and structure deals are being replaced by software that works in hours instead of months. Not theoretically. In his own office. Right now. The Coatue deck we covered earlier this week called agents "the biggest unlock" in AI. Griffin just confirmed it from the buy side. The shift from copilots to agents is not a future event. It is already happening at the highest levels of finance.

White-collar job displacement is rapidly accelerating, and in his own words, he says:
"Work that used to take weeks/months by those with master's and PhDs is now taking AI agents hours/days."
The crazy part is, he says it's making him depressed:
"I went home one Friday fairly depressed by this - you could just see how much of a dramatic impact this would have on society."

Last night U.S. forces, in coordination with the Armed Forces of Nigeria, killed Abu-Bilal al-Minuki and other ISIS leaders.
Back in November 2025, President Trump declared to the world that we will help protect Christians in Nigeria and instructed the Department of War to prepare for action. So, for months, we hunted this top ISIS leader in Nigeria who was killing Christians, and we killed him—and his entire posse.
In conjunction with Nigeria’s President, and at the direction of President Trump, U.S. Africa Command oversaw a precise operation to remove this terrorist.
Abu-Bilal al-Minuki was the senior ISIS General Directorate of Provinces Emir — the number two for ISIS globally — responsible for overseeing the planning of attacks, directing hostage-taking and managing financial operations. The removal of him and other ISIS personnel makes Americans safer by further degrading ISIS’s ability to plan and carry out attacks that threaten the U.S. homeland, American citizens, and innocent civilians.
Operations like last night’s demonstrate the exceptional lethality, patience and skill of U.S. forces, amplified alongside willing and capable partners, to address shared threats. This should serve as a reminder that we will hunt down those who wish to harm Americans or innocent Christians, wherever they are.

Had a short Shark Tank-like interaction with young founders in Delhi this morning. One additional challenge - it happened inside a real cold-water ice tank. Made the whole experience far more interesting. Entrepreneurs were pitching under both time pressure and body-temperature pressure.

But I’m far more worried about the unpaid useful idiots carrying water for Beijing.
Like Bernie Sanders rolling out the red carpet for CCP-linked AI ‘experts’ on Capitol Hill to write U.S. policy.
Right now it’s harder to get into the Met Gala than to help shape AI rules… and harder to snag a table at Carbone than to get elected to push anti-American policies. That needs to change.
