anthropic had mythos internally since 2026-02-24, so the leaked claude code (2026-03-31) was being written by it for over a month. if you checked the code, knowing these pieces of information will help you temper your expectations.

Kamal 2.8 will finally give us a local registry option for simple deploys. This means you won't need a Docker Hub or GHCR setup just to see your app in production. Will get this snuck into Rails 8.1 before we ship final! github.com/rails/rails/pu…

@joeldrapper Technical debt is a great way of describing the trade-offs to non-technical decision makers. It's a risk that needs to be paid back and causes ongoing drag and cost until it's paid back. Too much debt and you could end up bankrupt.

Every time crypto crashes I think to myself it will be the last time and everyone finally figured out it. But here we are again. What are people using crypto for?

@jordantwestecom ChatGpt plus text to speech is doing a lot of work for me these days. I might forget how to type. I wish there was a better solution on Linux. I'm using this chrome plugin right now that works well for me: chrome.google.com/webstore/detai…

Just discovered dictation on Mac 🖥️ Feels like I say this every day... 🗣️ But how did I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS? 🤷‍♂️ It makes talk to text available in every app on desktop... 🎙️📲 Ok That's all for now haha 😅

No business should ever send cold emails from their main domains. It will mess EVERYTHING up.

@PR0GRAMMERHUM0R Nonsense. Grmini1.5-pro (not even ultra) can ingest entire codebases in seconds perfectly. Anyone who still believes this meme lives under a rock

@Snowden Bitcoin wastes too much energy with the proof of work model. The future is something like Etherium (proof of steak) or helium (proof of coverage). Not to mention all the other shortcomings of Bitcoin.

Unpopular but true: Bitcoin is the most significant monetary advance since the creation of coinage. If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

@dhh This awesome! We will be shipping this for @usebasin right away. If I could figure out a way to use Turbo hover-click within Turbo Frames that would be amazing.

Turbo 8 has been released! The big three upgrades are: Morphing for smooth page refreshes, view transition support, and hover-click preload acceleration (ala InstantClick). We're using all this in production already. Big upgrade! github.com/hotwired/turbo…

If you are using Devise and you have an MFA setup, don't forget to turn off sign_in_after_reset_password, otherwise, your MFA can be bypassed during a password reset.

We’re taking urgent action to address the high cost of food – we’ve tasked the country’s largest grocers with stabilizing prices and we’ve introduced legislation to increase competition in Canada. We’ll keep working to drive down costs and make life more affordable for Canadians.

@dhh @37signals I'm curious what products they have in mind. For most people hosting, security updates, DevOps, bug fixes, minor improvements, support, etc are exactly what they would rather pay someone else for.

SaaS has reigned supreme for long enough. The Church of Recurring Revenue is due a reformation. It’s time for more choices in web software that you buy ONCE and run yourself. Starting late 2023, you’ll see such products available from @37signals. once.com
