I don't know why Flyers fans act like they need Michkov. They have Owen Tippett, future 40 goal scorer. They have Travis Konecny, the GOAT (of Autumn) and a bonafide star. They have Tyson Foerster, a 3 and D winger (except this is hockey.) Then you add Martone to that? Wow.

This is exhausting, and Rick Tocchet still doesn’t trust him at all. I personally wouldn’t scratch one of your two main cogs for the future, especially when this was supposed to be about giving the young guys playoff experience. I also wouldn’t have had him playing only 8-11 minutes a night. Hopefully it works out. I can get behind this as a one-game reset, but there’s no way Matvei’s getting back in the lineup if they win Game 5. There’s your scapegoat for one loss. And yes, I know he’s struggled this series. It’s just not a move I would’ve made. I see the thought process though…they’re gonna play Rick Tocchet hockey again in Game 5 and suffocate PIT. Hopefully Alex Bump makes the most of this. Go FLYERS.

Shouldn't even be in the playoffs, but making the second round would be awesome! However, Foerster kills penalties, has a cannon, and a strong stick on the boards. You're right about TK if you ignore last night's game. Tip has been playing well enough to not sit. Michkov doesn't kill penalties, looks weak on the boards (which is normally a strength), and kills plays with his co-stat turn and curl by the blue line. Time to sit.
