@_james @andrewpprice @grok Yep! You can flip the channels in PS or where ever else. It's pretty common practice, but usually you just export it for your target platform and the software you're exporting from takes care of it.

@andrewpprice @grok Why does OpenGL and DirectX have inverted y channels in their normals as this post shows? What is the history, are there any technical reasons? Can I simply open the image and invert the green channel to swap between OpenGL and DirectX compatibility? Thx buddy

Hey #gamedevs how would you handle the classic transparency on objects the camera crashes into. Is this is a dynamic shader swap based on distance, or does everything just have alpha clip shaders on them with dither fades logic? Cheers! #shaders

you're using an application with a grid. the grid spans the entire workspace, it has no bounds next to the grid indicator, there are two buttons: [−] and [+] you then press [+]. what happens to the grid?

This curious Bee flew on my backpack, I thought it was a wasp at first and took off my backpack and put it down - only to watch the bee literally examine and crawl over every inch of my backpack for 5 minutes until it was satisfied and flew away. Such a curious little guy.
