@VirginMediaIE With respect, I’ve contacted you many times already. You’re just repeating what your customer service team says, that the backroom team is “working on it.” Multiple customers are affected by your migration issues, and we still have no resolution or timeline.

After weeks of glitches and calls to support all 4 of our @VirginMediaIE SIMs are dead. Support closed for the weekend. Guess it’s back to carrier pigeons 🕊️ who needs a phone anyway!

@VirginMediaIE 18 days later, still waiting for this issue to be resolved, customer service have no idea of a timeline, many customers are affected by migration issues, amongst other issues verification texts are not coming through which means I cannot access important accounts or port my no.

It gets better, having spent hours every day on hold with @VirginMediaIE each call starting from scratch with agents who can’t actually fix anything and a back-end team that works 9–5, leaving customers stranded. I’ve just been advised it will take 5 business days to resolve!

@VirginMediaIE no mob phone service for a month, due to failed data 5G migration. Not possible to change provider as I can't receive the code req'd to confirm my number. No help from customer service, yet no problem taking your monthly fee from my bank. Please resolve urgently

@tessmcguinness @BusterBloodvess @VirginMediaIE have spoken to several Virgin Media Ireland CS agents trying to sort this, problems go to a backroom team that apparently only work Mon–Fri 9–5. There is a database migration issue that is affecting many customers and the cs agents have no idea of the timeline for resolution.

@AntoLong @VirginMediaIE I got a backup SIM from 48 that I have in my old phone now cause I missed important medical appointments cause of this, which Virgin know, but yeah they won't care about any of us. Several of us in this boat, I suggest getting ComReg on your side early like I did.

@AntoLong @VirginMediaIE It won't be activated when you get it, they confirmed to me last week that the same issue that took some of our SIMs down are stopping them from being able to activate the replacements (im on day 17 of no working SIM, got my replacement 8 days ago)

@VirginMediaIE Thank you ^Rachel, I will of course, however I will point out that all efforts this far have failed miserably. I cannot understand how I can order a sim today and it will be received and activated tomorrow, yet there appears to be no joining of the dots in support.
