@SebJohnsonUK EU branches of US tech firms are mainly for sales to big EU customers. Tech talent on the other hand is moved from EU to US using high salaries as attraction. The whole process makes US richer at expense of EU.

Anthropic is doubling down on Europe and opening an office in Milan. Europe is Anthropic's fastest growing region with revenue up 9x YoY, while Milan is the centre of Italian tech. Anthropic now has hubs in London, Dublin, Zurich, Paris, Munich and Milan. It's pushing more and more into Europe as its relationship with the US continues to sour. Great stuff for Italy!

@palavogikos @marcosagusstinn Italy was a collection of small states with different languages and culture, it seemed impossible to unite but here we are, united. The same process can be applied to EU and we can help with the lessons we learned in our unification not long ago

@CFDevelop The Ali coding plan is more than qwen, you have multiple LLMs including Kimi minimax and others. Use multiple tools including Claude code and they say they offer 3x tokens compared to others. I bought the lite but but it's sold out now selling only pro alibabacloud.com/en/campaign/ai…

Honestly, I can’t get enough AI tokens. I used 28% of my weekly Claude Code Max 20x quota in 24 hours. Immediately experienced the difference when the March doubling ended I’m at a point where I just have to wait around for tokens to come back half the time. It’s frustrating

@eptwts In emergency situation the real problem would be food and defense from neighbors that want food and energy at the point of killing/eating each other. The LLM would be less important

local LLM's would be insanely useful in an event that cuts us off from the internet, for example a world war... would give you unlimited access to medical & survival info i can't think of a single argument against getting a local LLM + off-grid solar panel + battery setup together there's lowkey a million dollar product idea here

MindOn, a 6-month-old Shenzhen startup, just dropped a viral demo. A @UnitreeRobotics G1 performing household tasks with full autonomy. Running on $16K off-the-shelf hardware. China is not just scaling humanoid hardware it is now pushing into the AI “brain” layer. In parallel, US players like @physical_int and @SkildAI, combining for $25B in valuation, are building general-purpose robotics intelligence. Two different approaches converging on the same control layer.

@spaceandtech_ Fantastic. I'd rather avoid buying a car and have one of these robots instead, way more useful. Please all Shenzhen tech companies, make them mainstream ASAP, you will sell like crazy, this industry will become important like automotive

A robotics startup in Shenzhen called Mind On has upgraded the Unitree G1 humanoid with an advanced robot brain. With this upgrade, the robot can perform everyday tasks on its own without human control. It was shown watering plants, opening curtains, cleaning, and moving items independently.

Over the past two days in Hangzhou, a video of an amazing house has gone viral 🔥 - a large 1800 square meter apartment, its design and every detail looks fantastic. And the price is very affordable.

well thats fucking it - anthropic has officially replaced software engineers. claude is now a 24 hr autonomous coding agent. claude can now operate your entire computer and CLAUDE CODE = end-to-end software engineering: - claude writes the code for you - then literally opens the app it coded - clicks through the entire app and find bugs - then fixes the bugs and improves the app in hours. previously claude generated code, you run it and give claude feedback. thats completely gone now. all in a continuous loop without leaving your terminal 😂 we're barely through monday. well done lol
Claude@claudeai

Computer use is now in Claude Code. Claude can open your apps, click through your UI, and test what it built, right from the CLI. Now in research preview on Pro and Max plans.

@CodeByPoonam I like kimi but subscription costs like Claude and while it's good it doesn't seem on the same level. They should cut the price or offer some unique service. Right now I can't see the real advantage of switching from Claude to Kimi

🚨BREAKING: Kimi just raised $1 billion. Again. That’s three rounds in under 90 days. The Kimi story is getting wild. $18 billion valuation. Up 4x in three months. Let that sink in. Moonshot is now: → The fastest Chinese AI company to cross $10 billion → The first Chinese LLM startup to close three consecutive rounds in under 90 days → Still raising. A fresh $1 billion round is in progress right now. This isn’t a funding story. It’s a signal. Investors aren’t just betting on Kimi. They’re betting that China’s AI race is far from over, and that Moonshot is one of the horses that finishes. While everyone’s been watching OpenAI and Anthropic, Moonshot quietly became one of the most aggressively funded AI companies on the planet.
