Discovered something important. This is ESPECIALLY true for folks in the midst of #SteamNextFest - double check your game's TAGS (even changing the first tag can crank up your visibility, visits, and Wishlists) I had "survival horror" as my number one tag when my game is really more of a "psychological horror" game (a slight difference, but an important one). I realized this a few days ago and swapped them out. Pretty quickly saw a nice boost in visibility, traffic, and Wishlists from folks who were looking for (and finding) a game just like mine. The folks who were looking for survival horror action were seeing my game and skipping on it, and the steam algo noticed. So take another look at your tags, guys. Steam did a pretty big tag update recently and your game might fit into new categories that will more effectively drive traffic your way.

Ever since I started making video games I completely lost the urge to play them. Is this normal or just me?

Shock me with the harshest reality truth.
