NAIROBI, Kenya – December 11, 2025 — Antugrow (@Antugrow) has been named WINNER of the 2025 Africa Earth Observation Challenge, announced yesterday at the inaugural Kenya Space Innovation & Investment Forum!
This recognition celebrates our work transforming agricultural finance across the continent - proving that African innovation can solve African challenges at scale.
The Africa Earth Observation Challenge (AEOC) is a continent-wide competition spotlighting startups using Satellite and Earth observation data to address critical problems across agriculture, climate, infrastructure, and beyond.
It strengthens Africa's emerging space economy by transforming Satellite data into tangible products, jobs, and climate-resilient solutions while celebrating the innovators driving this transformation across the continent.
For Antugrow, this win affirms our vision and reinforces our mission to make agricultural finance fairer, smarter, and more data-driven.
This year's finals were hosted at the inaugural Kenya Space Innovation & Investment Forum - the first national platform uniting government, investors, researchers, and innovators to accelerate space-driven economic growth.
A historic moment for Kenya's space sector and a powerful stage for African innovation.
Immense gratitude to the @AEO_Challenge for this honour, and for the vital work being done to reshape Africa's space future. Deep appreciation to the @SpaceAgencyKE, @ESA, @RIIS_Innovate, and @ViffaConsult for their exceptional efforts in organizing KSIIF and the AEOC pitching event.
