We discussed Antugrow’s current growth trajectory, our roadmap for scaling agricultural intelligence infrastructure, and the parallels we see with India’s evolving tech ecosystem. After an incredible chapter leading Base builder growth in East Africa, it is an honour to share that I am transitioning back to my roots as Founder and CEO at @Antugrow, an onchain credit scoring platform for farmers built on Base. This move comes at an exciting time as we continue to innovate at the intersection of agritech, blockchain, and sustainable farming for farmers across Africa. It has been a pleasure to spearhead initiatives that have truly accelerated the onchain economy in the region. Over the past year, we have achieved remarkable milestones; from organizing 25 meetups across 9 cities in East Africa, to launching the Based Founders Fellowship - Africa with founders who have processed over $1.5B in transaction volumes. I am grateful to have worked with all builders, and thankful for the support from @jessepollak, @xenbh, @sir_damilare, @deriq_eth, @saxenasaheb, and the broader Base team. These accomplishments have not only onboarded East Africa to @Ethereum but have also laid a strong foundation for builders to scale globally via Base Chain. Derrick is now taking the momentum continent-wide, and I am excited to see what comes next! I'm also thrilled to share that my co-founder Brian @papyrusleaf, who has been leading as CEO since I joined Base, and has done an outstanding job steering the ship, will be Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Antugrow as we enter our next stage of scale and execution. In this new role, Brian will continue the exceptional work he has excelled at in shaping @Antugrow's ecosystem, now with an even broader focus on advancing our operational excellence while driving capabilities in machine learning (ML), space intelligence (leveraging satellite and Earth Observation data for precision agriculture and enhanced credit scoring), and other cutting-edge technologies to drive greater impact for farmers. With the momentum from Base, I am happy to scale Antugrow’s impact as the credit infrastructure for agriculture connecting farmers to capital. Still championing @Base.
