@mojaexpressway After paying for ETC, being met with disrespect from your workers is absolutely unacceptable—it makes the entire SGR Expressway experience feel disgusting and unworthy of the service we paid for.

Truth That Transforms! In the words of Martin Luther, “A religion that gives nothing, costs nothing, and suffers nothing, is worth nothing.” Considering that statement we see now how costly and painful the building of Christ’s Church has been from its very inception. It cost people their lives, their relationships, their families, their very existence. Yet, they stood firmly for the faith, and they did so even if it meant death! Why were they so convinced of the truth to the point of death? They saw the ‘risen Christ,’ they heard Him speak to them and they sat down and ate with Him, and nothing in this world could convince them of anything to the contrary. Let’s examine what the Bible tells us about how our relationship with Christ should affect each of us before it extends to those around us! Colossians 3:12-14 “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against anyone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Our identity is in Christ as we learn to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. God through His love has chosen us, set us apart and given us the desire to hunger and thirst after His righteousness so that we might be filled with His grace. The more we give of ourselves to all that the Word of God instructs, the more we allow the Holy Spirit to help, lead, guide and strengthen us in the ways of the Lord. Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, tells us all that the only way we can identify those that truly represent Him is by observing the fruit that comes out of their lives. If it is what Scripture encourages then we know that they are of God, but if not, then be aware of who they are – certainly not those that are called and set apart by Him. We are to put on the Mind of Christ when we bear with each other and forgive one another especially when we have grievances against one another, we are called to forgive one another even as the Lord has forgiven us. But much more than the work of faith that is ongoing in our lives, we are to put on love, which binds everything together in perfect unity. Remember that God is love and those who profess to live for God, need to show His love to all that are around us. They are looking at us and judging Christ simply because we say that we represent Him. We are to continually develop mercy and compassion for those around us. Don’t be guided by inherent prejudices, up bringing or customary traditions that we have always held on to. Remember that in Christ, we are a new creation. The old has passed, the new is here! Our response in Christ must be Christlike to those observing us. We are to be quick to embrace in love, humble in our interactions, and happy to forgive even the vilest offender, because that shows others the true nature and response of a Christ-filled or Holy Spirit indwelt individual. Sometimes we don’t understand the magnitude of the huge responsibility that rests on our shoulders simply because we take on the name of Christ in calling ourselves Christians. The world is waiting to see you fall because in their eyes, they made Christ fall! By calling ourselves with the name of Christ and living indifferent lives, we become stumbling blocks to the unsaved that God loves and wants to save from eternal destruction and bring to His eternal light with Him.

U.S. Politics: A federal appeals court ruled that President Donald Trump can keep the National Guard deployed in Los Angeles to manage protests related to his deportation efforts, despite not consulting California Governor Gavin Newsom. This decision marks a win for Trump’s immigration enforcement strategy. Meanwhile, a federal judge blocked Trump’s plan to tie state transportation funding to cooperation with immigration enforcement, ruling that the Transportation Department lacks such authority.

Israel-Iran Conflict Escalates: Iranian missile strikes hit an Israeli hospital and residential areas, wounding over 200. Israel’s defense minister threatened Iran’s supreme leader, while Iran claimed it targeted a nearby site, not the hospital. The conflict, which began last Friday, is intensifying as President Trump considers U.S. military involvement in Israel’s campaign against Iran’s nuclear program, raising fears of a wider Middle East war. European nations are pushing for de-escalation, with Iran set to meet EU delegates in Geneva to discuss nuclear issues.

The case involves a 15-year-old girl missing from Pennsylvania since June 2024, found in High Point, North Carolina, highlighting a growing trend of online grooming leading to trafficking, with a 2023 DOJ report noting a 26% increase in such cases among minors since 2019. Joseph Rossomando, 32, faces severe charges including kidnapping and possession of child sexual abuse materials, reflecting legal frameworks like Texas Penal Code 43.62, which mandates harsh penalties—up to life imprisonment—based on intent and role, as supported by peer-reviewed criminology studies on exploitation patterns. The discovery stemmed from a tip leading to a home on Treyburn Lane, underscoring the role of community vigilance, with research from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children indicating that 88% of child trafficking cases involve prior online contact.
