I don't like Russia or Ukraine. Both are corrupt oligarchies. But Russia arms Iran & Turkey. Russia helps N. Korea. Russia, along with Qatar, China and the Saudis are working hard to destroy America from within. Ukraine keeps Russia in check. The enemy of my enemy is my friend!

@DragonReignX3 @SealTweetSix @TrentTelenko North Koreans atleast had troops in Kursk, Iran has at best sold weapons; if you count them as combatants then Ukraine has been fighting with 45 countries on its side supplying weapons, bankrolling the army& economy and having actual fighters on ground as "volunteers"

@Jeff21461 @ChickeniedRice If it was so easy then why is IDF struggling in Lebanon where the drone threat is miniscule and IDF boasts one of the best EW, air power and artillery against a militia? Why do you think US hasn't dare set foot in Iran

1. Flight time. How many UAVs can you actually deploy when it takes half an hour to get to the AO? 2. Frequency hopping is predictable and can be jammed/traced (the Belgian army learned this the hard way when they got wiped in exercises). 3. This requires these units to actually talk to each other. This is made difficult by the much reduced ability of units to talk to those on other parts of the front if their comms equipment just took a 155mm shell. 4. These distances would cross divisional or even army areas of responsibility, making coordinating such efforts that much harder. 5. Ukraine has already managed to do this multiple times, allowing for successful offensive operations.

@LetsArmUKR @RALee85 They can makeup the shortfall by reducing exports of refined petrol & diesel for domestic use instead, they can continue making money selling crude oil & gas. Meanwhile Ukraine lost a large chunk of its foreign currency earning by posing shipping ij Black Sea being shut

@Apaplw @RALee85 A few months of price spikes is billions in profit, true. But the same months saw 40% of moscovian refining capacity knocked offline, queues stretching five hours at pumps from Belgorod to Gelendzhik, and Nayara Energy shipping 42,000 tons of gasoline to plug the hole.

"Russia's state oil and gas revenue, which accounts for around a fifth of total budget income, is seen rising ‌by 60% in July from the same month a year ago thanks to the increase in global oil prices, Reuters calculations showed on Thursday. A steep rise from profit-based tax proceeds on oil production for the second quarter has also contributed to the overall year-on-year revenue rise... Oil and gas tax ‌revenue for January to July is still likely to decline by 11% from the same period in 2025, to 4.9 billion rubles." reuters.com/business/energ…

@Jeff21461 @ChickeniedRice FPV drones are flying as far as 70kms and more if using mother ship drones and repeaters, how do you suppress every single basement, trench or treeline in a 100sqkm area? Drones are using frequency hopping technology too to avoid jamming and jammers themselves can be hit too

>Locate the UAS teams >Map their signals infrastructure (Starlink, control antenna, wireless network gear, ...) >Concentrate on taking out that infrastructure before the assault Suppressing artillery works in a similar way, but here you want to go after the eyes of those units, which are the fixed-wing ISR platforms. Ramping up intercept efforts leading up to the assault will limit the amount of them they can have in the air. Such a process takes time to manage but is not impossible, and good UAS and artillery units have shown that they are capable of this. Shaping, meanwhile, is forcing the enemy to fight at a disadvantage by limiting their logistical capability, both through actions like direct strikes on supply efforts and route denial through remote mining. Meaning that the few drone teams that remain able to generate strikes will be restricted in how many UAVs they can actually send up or the number of shells they can fire.

@LetsArmUKR @RALee85 Because a large % of global oil&gas from ME is cutoff due to war, producing demand for Russian oil&gas .Heck Ukraine gets over 60% of its diesel from India that is refined frim Russian crude, majority of it's electricity comes from Slovakia & Hungary that also uses russianvfuel

@RALee85 A 60% monthly spike in oil and gas revenue is what you get when the West won't enforce a real price cap and lets moscovia sell into a tight market. Every barrel bought is a missile aimed at a Ukrainian city.

“Iranian drone attacks on CIA facilities in the Gulf have prompted U.S. intelligence analysts to investigate whether Russia assisted by providing targeting information or advanced drone technology, said four people familiar with U.S. intelligence. These people, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss national security matters, said U.S. intelligence officials have ‌not yet reached firm conclusions about the possible Russian involvement in the attacks on CIA facilities. But they cited the strikes' effectiveness and apparent precision, as well as Russia's broader technical support for Iran, as possible evidence… Two Western officials in the Gulf who were briefed on intelligence reports said analysts thought the Saudi attack involved a pair of Russian-enhanced versions of Iran's Shahed drones.” @JonathanLanday @G_Slattery @timourazhari reuters.com/world/middle-e…

🇲🇨 Ukraine’s Prosecutor General has released recovered footage recorded by the hitman behind the Monaco bombing. Investigators believe the attackers set up a camera in advance to confirm the assassination attempt had been carried out. The blast injured Jewish-Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaev, his partner Anna Nasobina, who lost both legs, and his 13-year-old son. Follow: @europa

The funniest thing about the GOAT debate is that some people think one World Cup should erase 20+ years of greatness. It doesn’t. Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT, and it’s not because of trophies or Ballon d’Or debates. It’s because no footballer has ever represented obsession, discipline, longevity, and the refusal to accept limits the way Ronaldo has. This is a player who left his comfort zone multiple times. He conquered England, Spain and Italy, adapted to different managers, different teammates and different systems, yet he kept scoring. When people say “talent wins,” I point at Ronaldo. He built himself into one of the greatest athletes football has ever seen. Every weakness became a strength because he outworked everyone. Now people tell me Messi is the GOAT because he won the World Cup. Fair enough—winning the World Cup is an incredible achievement, and no one can take that away from him. But one tournament, played every four years, doesn’t erase nearly two decades of relentless excellence. If the World Cup alone decided the GOAT debate, then football would be judged by seven matches instead of an entire career. Ronaldo has delivered in Champions League knockout games, international tournaments, finals, and against the biggest clubs. He’s broken records people thought would never be touched, and he’s still chasing more. You can tell me Messi is the most naturally gifted footballer ever. I’ll respect that opinion. But for me, the GOAT is the player who made the impossible look achievable through relentless work, mentality and consistency. That’s Cristiano Ronaldo. You don’t have to agree with me. But you won’t convince me otherwise. Cristiano Ronaldo is the GOAT. End of discussion. 🐐

Russians With Attitude@RWApodcast·
Russian state media leaked audio recordings of the Ukrainian intelligence agent who is charged with murdering the woman who blew up that Ukrainian oligarch in Monaco (Vitaly Zhikovich; the woman was, of course, also an SBU agent, though probably not an "official" intelligence officer). On these recordings, among other things, he calmly refers to his own work as "terrorism", talks about Israeli software that Mossad shared with the SBU, explains how much he loves his work (including assassinations), mentions that they have specific orders from Zelensky to cause civilian casualties during attacks, and talks about a plot to murder a Dagestani official by enlisting local Islamists (the assassination plot was thwarted by the FSB, and the Dagestani official is on the Ukrainian hit list because he's an SMO war hero). The recordings were clearly obtained by Russian intelligence originally, and I have suspected some recent Russian intelligence coup against the SBU for a while now, partly due to how badly Operation Spider Web 2.0 failed (I don't think I've mentioned that on here? They caught several trucks with drones in Siberia, arrested a bunch of people involved with it, etc. Basically the plan was the same as the original Operation Spider Web -- smuggle drone parts into Russia and attack air bases through perfidy -- only this time they were discovered and neutralized). Looks like there's been some SIGINT penetration, somebody flipped, or the SBU just got sloppy.
