Lucian Freud exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery is well worth catching. He’s quite a predatory painter. But the forensic attention to form & line is a masterclass in precision. I left inspired to draw more regularly. To keep my hand in and my eyes wide open.

In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda. It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims.

@arthistorynews @St_Jimmy_22 @museodelprado When I visit a museum, I am totally engaged with the work of art I am looking at. The opportunity of reliving that feeling/emotion when I return is important too. Every museum in Europe I have visited allows us to do it except The Prado.
