@bluiinferno @Civixplorer Oh yeah I like that tower too, less anxiety than its neighbor for sure!
English

@bluiinferno @Civixplorer That tower makes me anxious. (for anyone who doesn't know, this is a reference.)
I honestly really like the look of the Columbia Center, very nice and sleek design, especially considering when it was built and is just short of Supertall status at 933 feet.

English

@Apollo_VT @Civixplorer All that and it’s It’s still mid .. rainier square tower is cool tho
English

It's not super clear-cut and depends entirely on how you use/invest the $1 million.
The average person lives about 4000 weeks, at 20 years old let's just say she has around 2800 weeks to collect. That works out to $2.8 Million dollars -- obviously you also have to factor for things like inflation and cost of living from there.
Raw value, she gets more with the weekly payouts.
If the entire $1 million was invested to try and beat inflation she *could* make more, but could also have to deal with market crashes and whatnot.
So there's give and take either way.

@NFL_DovKleiman They're all not that great, but I guess the Oilers logo.
English

@official_caelum Hey, a question relative to me!!
To be fair, I kinda wish I was in alternate timeline Seattle, Australia!
English

To follow up with the no supertalls, since I hadn't looked into the term before, this is true, though Seattle does have one tower right on the edge of that line and that is the Columbia Center (933 feet) this puts Seattle's tallest as taller than Miami's and Seattle has far more towers over 700 feet than a city like Denver or Nashville.
Really for the tier-2s that could "punch above" their weight as far as the "look" of the city being considered in unison with their scale and density - Seattle, Miami, Houston, San Francsisco, and Los Angeles would be the main contenders to "punch above."
Main issue with the West Coast cities is that they average anywhere from 60-100 years younger than their East Coast and Midwest counterparts which also factors into their scale since North America isn't building anywhere near as fast as Asia or the Middle East.

English

@Apollo_VT @Civixplorer Respectfully, no. It’s nice but too small and no supertall. We’re talking BIG three
English

The Space Needle is far away from the city core and Seattle has other "iconic" towers, mostly 1201 Third Avenue (the WaMu Tower - 772 feet), the Columbia Center tower (the tallest building at 933 feet, which looks kind of like a vertical PS3) and the Smith Tower, which was the tallest building west of the Mississippi for about 20 years back in the early 1900s.
English

@KamranA_ @Civixplorer More angles you say!
Seattle has one particular "most famous" angle, but it looks nice and densely packed from all angles.

English

@bluiinferno @Civixplorer Denver has 8 skyscrapers over 500 feet in height. Seattle has 21 and is growing much faster than Denver.
Combine that with the better looking surrounding area (imho) and Denver isn't close to the same tier.
Seattle is already in the top 10 for 500ft skyscrapers for all of NA.
English

@Apollo_VT @Civixplorer If u took away rainier, Seattles skyline would be in the same tier as Denver.
English

@skoglund_e20185 @Civixplorer Even without Rainier, Seattle has a far larger skyline (21 skyscrapers 150m tall or larger vs 4 for Nashville) that is just way more esthetically pleasing.
Nashville is just below St Louis tier.
English

If we're basing it just off of scale then sure, the top 3 NA cities for skyscrapers over 492ft (150m) in height would be NYC, Chicago, and Toronto.
But that was not defined by OP, so if we include the aesthetics of each skyline and the location of each city, Seattle and Miami get massive boosts and Chicago, arguably, takes a hit.
It's all subjective in the end until we're measuring for specific factors.
English

@Apollo_VT @Civixplorer Seattle has a beautiful skyline. But I think the top 3 is based off of scale.
English

@PhoenixxVT You did an awesome job great to see you enjoying art!!
