Dr. Mikel Del Rosario asserts that Jesus claimed to be the Son of Man, having divine authority both in heaven and on earth, citing Mark 2, Mark 14, Daniel 7, Psalm 110, and First Enoch as evidence for his claim. @apologeticsguy @bartdehrman   youtu.be/tDsTDCuD8XA

@DeeWaynee94 @alisa_childers The Christian view begins not with “you’re broken,” but rather with Genesis—God’s good creation, including humans made in God’s image. Christian ethics recognizes that God’s moral commands are sourced in his good nature. And his nature is to have mercy and forgive.

@alisa_childers An ethic that starts with “you deserve eternal torture” and ends with “be grateful I spared you” is the textbook abuse cycle. Finite mistakes don’t merit infinite punishment. Healthy love doesn’t demand self-loathing or blood to balance a ledger.

We should all ponder deeply the offense of our own sin. I deserve nothing but hell and the full brunt of God's wrath. Because of this, I am so deeply and immeasurably grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Thank you, Lord for saving a sinner like me.
