برجام به شکلی شباهت عجیبی به قراردادهای قجری داشت. معمولا مذاکره‌کننده یا دلال ایرانی دوران قاجار سعی میکرد علاوه بر داد و ستد امتیازهای کلان و در سطح ملی، امتیازهای شخصی برای خود بگیرد، رشوه‌ای پولی یا امتیاز شخصی. طرف آمریکایی برجام جایی گفته بود ظريف اصرار داشت که امتیاز چند صد گرین‌کارت را برای طرف ایرانی بگیرد. گرین کارتهایی که بعدا میان نفرات حکومت و خانواده‌هایشان تقسیم شد. رفته‌اند برای مذاکره سر مسائل اتمی و مرتبط با امنیت ملی، بعد یکی از درخواستهایشان این بوده که برای جلب رضایت، باید این تعداد گرین کارت و تسهیل در مهاجرت هم به ما بدهید. این گرین‌کارتها امروز در حال بررسی مجدد هستند.
