@ArazatiTea Ah yup, turns out both Torch and Chilled have short circuits in them. Both easy enough fixes now that I know about them. Thanks for the feedback!

@ThemsAllTook A lot of the levels seemed to play themselves, and Torch and Chilled levels I felt like I was skipping an intended path, but overall I really enjoyed it. Especially the secret levels. I was laughing after I realized just how badly I was overthinking how to unlock the last one. :D

@ArazatiTea Ideally I'd reward Merciless clears with a graphical option or something to use in the main mode, as well. Even if it's just a palette swap.

@ArazatiTea There's enough RNG on a normal attempt, that most people won't know mercy is there unless they're looking for it.
And I'm thinking that then, post-tutorial, Merciless mode will pop-up with a counter for how many times they received Mercy in their normal run, as a challenge.

@EpicNameBro Hmm.. ok yeah, I can see that in that case I definitely wouldn't be able to tell.. I'm less against it if you do things that are subtle, especially if it's the gateway into the main mode where mercy mode doesn't come into play.

@ArazatiTea The important point, and the reason I'm passionate about having Mercy mode and not making it an option on the first run, is pacing.
There's story build-up and the like happening at the same time. I want to challenge people, but also let them enjoy the flow!

@EpicNameBro Or, I'd also be ok with it if there was just a popup at the start with the merciless mode toggle. "Hey, if you want hard mode go for it." without having to already beat it, because I may not even -want- to play it a second time unless stuff gets even harder than normal..

@EpicNameBro Nerfing the speeds/timing of stuff is good, but if I saw a missing enemy I'd either think it was a game bug, or I would attribute it to the mercy event thing and be a bit dissapointed the game was made easier. At least with modified stats I don't -know- it's easier.

And I'm about to burst at the seams trying to not tell you about the other big mechanic for the attack, so don't tempt me

@EpicNameBro Either way, my DMs are open if you want to discuss mechanics/code/whatever. ^^ And if I had to bet, I'd probably guess I'm using the wrong functions to get the width/height of stuff.. or it doesn't like the stretched canvas.
