Since girls outperform boys in all levels of education it is no surprise that we now see a reverse gender pay gap for young Australians. Young women out-earn men their age. We also know from dating platforms that women still prefer to date men that earn more than they do. This leaves the most successful women with the most shallow dating pools.

It is a big difference if you are local or at least speak the language or not. China is great on paper. Almost zero chances to integrate. Still the best if you only look at these numbers and ignore everything else. France is great in many ways but without french it is barely liveable. The US is probably the best for foreigners as they're used to broken English. And almost everybody speaks the broken English (I am as well). But if I could be local somewhere, I would choose France.

@marko_kovic Es geht hier nicht um Ego vs Gemeinschaftssinn. Das Ganze so zu framen als wären die Rot-Drücker Egoisten ist mMn falsch. Nur weil man davon ausgehen muss, dass einige es nicht verstehen und deshalb blau drücken, macht es das Ganze nicht "menschlicher" wenn man blau wählt.

Jeder Mensch auf der Welt muss entweder einen roten oder einen blauen Knopf drücken. Die Entscheidung ist privat, ohne Absprache. Wenn mindestens 50% aller Menschen den blauen Knopf drücken, überleben alle. Egal, welchen Knopf sie gedrückt haben. Wenn aber weniger als 50% den blauen Knopf drücken, sterben alle, die den blauen Knopf gedrückt haben. Nur die Menschen, die den roten Knopf gedrückt haben, überleben. Wenn man den roten Knopf drückt, überlebt man garantiert. Welchen Knopf drückst du? Dieses Gedankenexperiment geht im Moment viral. Nicht zuletzt, weil die Antwort offensichtlich scheint: Natürlich drücke ich den roten Knopf. Wenn ich rot drücke, überlebe ich garantiert. Blau ist ein vermeidbares Risiko. Ein rationaler, nutzenmaximierender Akteur muss sich für rot entscheiden. Oder? Eng individuell betrachtet vielleicht schon. Kollektiv gesellschaftlich betrachtet aber nicht. Der Nutzen wird nur dann tatsächlich maximiert, wenn eine Mehrheit blau drückt -- denn dann überleben alle. Unser Instinkt sagt rot, in Wahrheit ist aber blau die beste Entscheidung. Warum tendieren viele zu rot? Weil blau ein Risiko ist: Wir müssen *vertrauen*, dass andere Menschen auch blau wählen. Dieses Problem gibt es in allen Bereichen der Gesellschaft. Ohne Vertrauen läuft nichts. Vertrauen ist aber ein Risiko: Man begibt sich freiwillig in eine asymmetrische Verletzlichkeit, weil man erwartet, dass sich das Gegenüber zu unseren Gunsten verhält. Wenn genug viele Menschen misstrauisch sind, wählen sie rot. Rot wird damit zu einer selbsterfüllenden Prophezeiung. Vertrauen ist auch eine selbsterfüllende Prophezeiung. Wenn genug viele Menschen glauben, dass sich andere Menschen freiwillig uneigennützig verhalten, verhalten sich in der Konsequenz genug viele Menschen uneigennützig. Und sie maximieren damit den Nutzen für alle. Eine zivilisierte Gesellschaft funktioniert dann und nur dann, wenn die Mehrheit blau wählt. Eine Gesellschaft, in der die Mehrheit rot wählt, wünsche ich niemandem.

Wir brauchen Visionen und auch Mut, zum „out of the box“-Denken. Denn wer Visionen hat, soll nicht zum Arzt, sondern in die Politik gehen. Eine Idee: Ich fände ein Experimentierjahr gut. Jeder hat die Möglichkeit, ein Jahr lang mit Grundeinkommen (eben nicht bedingungslos!) und voll sozialversichert an einer unternehmerischen Idee zu arbeiten. Wenn da nur ein Bruchteil zu erfolgreichen Unternehmen wird, lohnt sich das volkswirtschaftlich. Außerdem würde ich @bundeskanzler und @larsklingbeil ein Praktikum in Startups empfehlen, damit sie den Regulierungswahnsinn für unsere Unternehmen mal real erleben. The amount Europe hates America is beyond me as a German. We literally copied everything from and about America. America used to copy Europe, but that time is long gone. We now copy America, with everything. Because, let's be honest, America is the best western society. But the hate and arrogance of the Europeans towards America? Insane. The majority of Europe, male or female, literally just act like jealous women at this point.

@SaffronOlive Iam just a nostalgic sucker and sad we will never have that Mirage/5th edition feeling again. Even urza block was fantastic, with its more cohesive art (compared to older sets)

There have been some great pieces of art in recent Magic sets, but Magic art has also moved in a much more silly and cartoonish direction recently. Personally I think the people saying Magic art all sucks now and the ones saying it hasn't changed are both arguing in bad faith.
