EV subsidies are a handout to relatively wealthy car drivers who purchase new vehicles. And they have many of the harmful effects on cities that ICE vehicles do. Subsidies should go into genuinely sustainable transport: public transport, and walking and cycling infrastructure.

@MieleAustralia Is it your regular practice to delay delivery of dishwashers by a week without telling customers? I organised to spend the day at home to accept delivery, but later discovered when I phoned your call centre that the dishwasher won’t be delivered for another week.

Sydney Road in Brunswick is such a traffic pit of hell. Cars ruin every single other mode of transport and aspect of place here. We watched an emergency vehicle struggle to get through the hot, stinky ocean of cars. Keeping street parking here is insanity.
