Let me explain it to you this way @biral_r. If I were the IRGC and I really wanted a deal I would not mess with the strait of hormuz at all. I would just say leave the strait the way it was before which costs the IRGC nothing to agree to. This, way the deal has the best chance of being accepted by the US. It's odd to me the IRGC is sticking to that unreasonable position. Nuclear aside for now. Opening the strait is a very good move for the negotiations and the world perception that Iran is being gracious. I would make that move. What do you think?

What about thus theory @biral_r. What if, the idea was a deal is made just to give a real crash to the oil markets and then until the deal is officially ratified the crash in oil wouldn't occur. So in order for the deal to really stick Iran needs the money transferred to their account. But then, when the money is transferred that would be the exact moment to attack.
