GPT 5.6 Sol with High reasoning is so weird, it uses subagents all the time for not particular reason.
The model is good, just this auto-subagents-everywhere-everytime is a bit annoying tbh.

Real-time brainstorming with GPT-5.6 Sol is much more enjoyable than with 5.5. Being able to keep discussing ideas while a plan is running feels noticeably smoother. The new subagent UI/UX is the chef’s kiss that ties it all together. 🤌

@productdevbook You can request a quota increase through Google Cloud, though the process is a bit painful. Distributing the requests across multiple similar models could also help

As both a player and a game developer, there are so many games I admire. But Civilization V will always be the greatest game ever made in my eyes.
I replay it at least once or twice every year, and somehow it still feels just as special as it did the first time.

The first time I saw Nero’s red UI, I couldn’t believe it. In the Windows XP era, when every app looked like the same standard window, Nero felt like it had arrived from the future.
Now it looks like everything else. A reminder that UI/UX conventions create consistency, but can also constrain imagination and strip products of their identity.

In my experience, GPT-5.5 would start losing focus this far into a long-running goal. GPT-5.6 Sol is still going strong and staying remarkably consistent, even after 17 hours

After using GPT-5.6 for a while, I’m pretty convinced it’s a big step up from 5.5. It solved a problem we’d been stuck on for months in one pass and actually improved the solution.
So far it also feels much less prone to making things up.

I’ve been working extensively with the OpenAI Agents SDK for the past few weeks, and it’s genuinely impressive. I mainly use GPT-5.6 and GPT-5.5, but I’ve also tried GLM-5.2, DeepSeek V4, and Gemini through it. It has exceeded my expectations.
