@Argon893 @Orangulent But that’s the same thing when it comes to women. Which is why I think it’s important not to judge somebody based on their sex, but rather judge everyone as an individual. Broad, sweeping generalizations of men or women aren’t very useful.

Text to my husband today: “Where do we keep the house filters?” Why? Because the AC guy was here today and offered to change them for us, a job that my husband handles. He knows when to change them, and he knows the size and type of filters we use. I do not. Because in a marriage you divvy up the mental load. I handle the grocery list because I cook, because I’m better at it! He does the dishes, so when he’s low on dishwasher soap he tells me and I add it to the list. This video implies only women have a mental load which is utter BS. Husbands and wives just handle different aspects of the household. That’s how it works. That’s how it’s always worked.

@cyeluvs Im sure every single kpop group has performed in the rain at some point, but its dangerous and they shouldn't have to perform in those conditions. Many idols have fallen, slipped, and have been injured because of it. Placing hate on group for that is stupid.

@LadyDemosthenes @Orangulent I dont doubt there are good men around and maybe I am being too quick to judge, but while you see positive examples, I see the opposite. Like I said, its about personal experiences.

You see the subset of people you know is not a wide enough sample to get a clear picture of what everyone is doing or what even the majority is doing. Because I can also bring my own anecdotal evidence and say all the husbands I know in my little grouping of people are just like my husband, just as helpful so now who’s experience is the correct experience?

@LadyDemosthenes @Orangulent Then define evidence. Because what i see on a day to day basis are husbands complaining about their wives, kids, and choosing to stay at work longer than necessary so that they dont have to 'deal' with the home, leaving everything to their wives to take care of.

I can’t stand this woman. I have a visceral reaction every time I see her. She is the most obnoxious person on the internet. Also- the idea that men don’t have mental loads is wild to me. They just have different ones than we do, that aren’t centered around the kitchen pantry. 🙄

@FlorioGina You know what thats fine. Calling and making sure you get the right things is smart and is reasonable on your first or second trip. If he's calling every time, then he's an idiot.

Just going to go out on a limb here and say this is a major reason why so many young men are saying a resounding “no thanks” to marriage. What a lethal, painful combination of feminism and therapy speak. Being alone or even deaf is a far more pleasant option.

@Michael_P_USA @FlorioGina Lol most men dont even change their oil, they go to get an oil change at a mechanic shop. Leaky pipe, they call a plumber. Lawnmower is easy, I mow my lawn every two weeks and Ive seen other women do it too. Changing a tire is important, but you only do that once in blue moon.

But on average, most men dont even know important things, like their own kids allergies or schools they go to.I also bet that starting now, you'll know where the filters are and wont have to ask again.

My husband does his own laundry, he does the dishes every night (because I cook). He takes out the trash, and he will help fold laundry with me. At the end of the day, the person who is Home the most is the one who usually takes on the biggest load at home because they are home the most. Or the person who’s most likely to be able to get off to take the kids to the appointment or the ones who make the appointment just like the person who cooks is the person who grocery shops some tasks fall to the person who is capable of doing it.

Men aren’t built this way and the sooner these women accept it the better. As the wife you should be the planner and in charge of most errands. If that’s too much mentally for you because you also work a full time job maybe you should admit something about female nature and gender dynamics instead of trying to force a man into the same role as you. @LThismoney78834 I just dont see feminine energy as chaotic or unpredictable, sorry. To me, feminine energy is like a mother caring for her child. Nurturing, soft, comforting, warm, loving, empathy,etc. Masculine energy to me is strength, power, action, violence, passion, etc
