As the season wraps up, I want to highlight three guys from my position group who stepped up in a big way this year. Their effort, growth, and production made a huge impact. @DHSTitansFB @CoachGroshek @CoachAClark @coach_nikoc @GwinnettRecruit @RecruitGeorgia

There is too much depth in this draft for OTs and iOLs for us to use a premium asset on a OT in the top 20. While there is a path where we end up with an OT at 19 but it is not a preferred one. It’s not controversial for the team to focus on impact NOW types of players such as KC, Coop, Sadiq and Dillon over a OT that likely won’t get snaps this year. At least, we’d hope because that means something went wrong.

Everything I am putting in this reply is my assumption and perspective. I am not saying I’m right and if someone chooses to disagree with me that is completely okay. Let me bullet my thoughts: 1. I believe this is EE’s final year here. I believe we are going to let him work his final year of his deal and go into the “coaches for hire” pool. I personally think he is destined to be the Rams DC next year after Shula lands his gig. 2. I don’t believe there will be a DC search for us. I think promoting Jonathan Cooley is a natural progression for this staff. He has done amazing things with our secondary and regarded as one of the better coaches in the league at his position. 3. When we hired Canales we knew that we were hiring a coach too early and the growing pains would come with it. That is what we are enduring as a fan base right now. I think there is still reason to be patient with him. He has showed massive improvement as a HC year over year. For transparency - I was not a fan of the hire but I’ve come away realizing I was wrong. 4. I don’t believe the FO or management will Ignore our offensive woes this year and last. I don’t think they will bring in a new play caller (or OC) but I could see a path where Jim Caldwell retires/resigns and we bring in a new Offensive Consultant/Advisor to assist Canales. 5. Last year’s draft does look bad for DMo but he made up for it this year. I believe everything we have heard about DMo having a special eye for talent is true. I believe he can rebuild this roster in due time. I just hope we don’t lose sight of continuing to inject talent into this offense while re-building the defense. Sorry for the long wall of text, but I hope it’s helpful. #KeepPounding
