The UCP just handed $98 million in contracts for disability employment services to two foreign private companies:
· AKG Canada (North) — $47 million (Australian-owned)
· Serco Canada (South) — $51 million (British-owned)
Both are for-profit corporations that specialize in government outsourcing. While severely disabled Albertans are forced through stressful bureaucratic hoops, public dollars are flowing to foreign corporations. This is privatization, not compassion. #AISH #ADAP #Alberta

LaGrange asked if there are underutilized ORs to rent out to private teams, are you really doing everything you can for surgeries? Shee says they continue to increase spending for health care, that they keep adding resources- but can't keep up, hence the need to try something new.
