@Dunkatog @ringdingdingo Have been debating this in my local community for the day, so thanks for the answer. Any chance of an update to 406.3b to reflect this? Since this is the result we expected/wanted but .3b trips up by stipulating 'with certain qualities' which suggests it can't apply here.

@ringdingdingo Technically it gives you permission to do that, but you can’t cast a face-down card in exile unless you can also look at it (rule 406.3b). So you need to do something that will allow you to look at it first. Taking control of that Collector’s Cage will do the trick. #WotCstaff

Voor uitkeringen worden mensen helaas wettelijk uitgekleed, en bij veel gemeenten telt letterlijk *alles* als inkomen dat men had moeten melden. Krijg je een potje groenten of knakworst van de buren of familie? Inkomen! Melden!

@AnneArdon Kansloze opmerking van die ambtenaar. Naast dat: een verkoop in de prive sfeer geldt formeel niet als inkomen volgens mij. Maar ik heb het idee dat die €800 niet klopt, want dan zou het erg meevallen.

@BiIIGay @AnneArdon Dit kost de Gemeenten vele malen meer dan dat ze aan (vaak door onwetendheid/onhandigheid) fraude terugvorderen. Zou ons sieren die luttele euros te laten voor wat het is en ambtenaren op die afdelingen voor het grootste deel in te zetten waar wel geld weggegooid wordt.

@AnneArdon Pijnlijk. We zouden alle bijstands-fraude afdelingen bij gemeentes moeten halveren en alleen de ergste verdenkingen onderzoeken. Pakt er dan een bijstandsgerechtigde hier en daar wat euros die ze wettelijk niet zouden mogen hebben? Zeker. Kost ons dat maatschappelijk iets? Nee.

@tobyelliott @minor_deviation @Dunkatog Just to be clear, I'm not advocating for making them missed triggers, just that players 'feel' like they are that during calls. But maybe a downgrade or some other semi-smooth option in terms of GRVs when sagas are concerned so that less players stack up to game losses on them.

@minor_deviation @Arjen_J @Dunkatog Wizards wrote the Saga rules to very intentionally not be triggers (and therefore not missable). Changing that would be a pretty big quagmire, so I think wee would have to see significant impact beyond rustiness to go there.

@Dunkatog Not even sure you're the right person to reach for MtG policy. But now that Competitive events are well back in swing, as a head judge for a bunch of them I struggle with a certain recent development: Players forgetting their Saga turn based action. 1/3

@Dunkatog a day of playing is much more punitive. Is it time to consider some sort of exception or change to the IPG to account for this? Or do we hope that eventually through many 'feels bad' game losses, players will learn to be very mindfull of their sagas? 3/3

@Dunkatog My problem is this: There are a lot of sagas in competitive metas. The turn based action is fairly easy to miss and to players they feel like missed triggers. Except, they are a turn based action and result in a GRV warning. And the penalty for stacking a few of those over 2/3

And worlds is a joke based on one slot going to one region over another? A single team changes worlds? Your logic is a joke.

@ForeignGam3r @MonteCristo Just because your favourite didn't make it doesn't make the format bad. Misfits had 2 shots based on 1-2 bo1s which gave them 4th instead of 5/6, so by your logic fnc and excel should complain harder because they had no second chance bo5s ever.

@MonteCristo This whole situation with an extra slot in LEC and how RIOT handled it is a joke. MAD Lions in the playoffs is a joke. How can you drop the ball so hard in the playoffs... I'm so disappointed that Misfits didn't make it and MAD did...

@cokguezel01 @fanofEUlcs @MonteCristo You can't change a playoffs format 2/3rds into the split. You just cannot, legally but also for competitive integrity. That would be like changing worlds knock-out stage while groups is half played already.

@JaraohTJ @Ali_hassanein @MonteCristo This is factually false, they had 3 seeds for worlds last year in 2021. They only ever had 4 seeds once and it was a disaster because lck only had 3 and won worlds. They only got 4 seeds because riot took one away from Russia.
