I received a full-time offer from Oracle in 2022, which I ultimately declined.
I believed that accepting the PPO offer from Hotstar would provide me with greater opportunities for growth.
When I discussed my decision with my supposed be manager at Oracle, I was surprised by the question of why I preferred Hotstar over Oracle; I thought, 'Why is that even a question?'
Anyways, I am pleased that I chose not to join Oracle.

@prashantnhn @suritalreja There are issues while burning points at checkout why create an issue and there is that possibility of inclusion of accor points and status nights too because you are paying with points so you will easily maintain status.

Get the confirmation prior to check in about the points and then do include all your expenses - transfers, laundry, spa, f&b in the final bill to be settled using points.

Also, when you stay at Accor properties and ask them to add food charges to your final bill, make sure they don’t redeem your points twice.
This happened to me once at ibis Goa Calangute.
I had some food expenses and requested them to include those in the final bill and redeem via Accor points. However, they ended up deducting points not only for the food but also again for the hotel stay, which had already been paid using points at the time of booking through the Accor app.

“Bill it to the room” sounds simple…..but it’s a serious Accor value hack which most people are not aware of. When used correctly, it can turn regular spends into unreal savings/value.

@RupakChatto Mrinal Sen was self proclaimed marxist, but calling his movies propaganda is a highly reductive approach. Ray and Sen had their differences and engaged in professional rivalry but they both had huge respect for their craft and on a personal level.

Satyajit Ray was an auteur, he didn’t just make poverty porn, he had a great range. Charulata, Mahanagar, Feluda series etc were far from it. But it’s also true he was an Anglophile. Craved the western validation. Hated the natives. Didn’t let Soumitra & Madhabi work in Bollywood. Soumitra had to give up ‘Anand’. So yeah, he had his grey shades.
