@cybelethebest I think, unfortunately, that you have to get ahead of it by explaining what it is when they are pretty young and letting them know that other kids are going to try and show it to them & they need to be prepared to encounter it.

I have two very young boys. I *obviously* know they will have interest in sex well before 18, as did I and almost everyone. My dilemma is that I want them to experience development in those early formative years in a way that is healthy and isn’t going to rot their brains. Might want to give them some print materials and just beg them to stay off the sketchier corners of the internet.

terminating for medical reasons is a heartbreaking choice that no one with a wanted pregnancy wants to make. I reduced my twin pregnancy to one because my daughter had a heart condition called HLHS that is incurable and required multiple open heart surgeries for a chance at life.

I often see prolife people be like "we didn't test for X genetic thing bc we wouldn't ever abort" and like idk I wouldn't ever abort either obviously, but it would be nice to be able to prepare if they did have something? Just, there's no inherent high ground to not testing, lol.

My husband thinks I’m spending an absurd about of money at HomeGoods but I’m literally about to have 2 under 2 , once I have two babies I will not see the inside of HomeGoods again for several years so if I don’t completely refurnish our home right now our family will be literally ruined. @cybelethebest They do have poor judgement. That’s why children raised by single mothers have worse outcomes across the board than children raised by single fathers. Yes, the man is to be the head of the household but the woman has an invaluable role in raising and caring for children.
