The most challenging video that I've ever had to record
It's addresed to every single member of the @CounterStrike community:
- Fans
- Players
- Teams
- Collegues
- Tournament organisers
and others
This is a TLDR clip and the full version is on youtube

@DeebenMika @heroicgg Funny joke ngl, but can't be saying that when broky is realistically an upgrade over yxngstxr💀
English

@tuaacs @MarsborneGaming Cxzi as IGL developed nicely, and while I'm unsure as to how freshie will do in his stead I do think the rest of the lineup is an upgrade in ambition. Wumbo and ogwizard are the future for NA and Grizz is still a monster. Exciting times at least
English

@Sh1nCS @CSGORoll @FaZeEsports a lot of firepower in exchange for killing the team, would rather get kl1m, gr1ks or even podi ngl
Senzu 100% would be awesome on faze though. Fuck it get kyxsan in there for karrigan too, you have time enough to start aggressively changing the VRS core so get started.
English

Someone needs to save s1mple man, @FaZeEsports I can fix you 🤓
- 🇱🇻 broky
- 🇵🇱 jcobbb
+ 🇲🇳 senzu
+ 🇺🇦 s1mple

@BBloodybelgian @KenAijmNight I find that a high-level professional scene comes as a result of a thriving lower-tier one. You cannot necessarily plan for it, but if you create enough room for casual enjoyers to thrive, the system will syphen to the top naturally. It can't be forced, but it does grow with time
English

@ArmipotentCS @KenAijmNight Connecting grassroots to BAS/ROL through proper promotion and relegation gives players purpose and supports a long-term amateur scene. It also helps drive interest in higher-tier play by creating a clear connection,at least in theory.
English

Really interesting takes here 👇
So far I’m seeing a few clear gaps in Benelux esports 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺:
– Lack of lower divisions / long-term structure (LoL)
– No clear progression / pathway (Valorant)
– “Reason to play” missing for many teams
– Funding & audience challenges
Feels like it all points to one thing: missing foundation.
What am I missing? 👇

What’s missing when it comes to accessibility in Benelux esports 🇧🇪🇳🇱🇱🇺? Clear entry points? Consistent competitions? Better structure? I’m exploring a grassroots idea: one central platform for multiple games (LoL, Valorant, RL, CS2, OW). Would love to hear thoughts — feel free to tag others who should be part of this 👇 @bvesportsNL @RoadOfLegends @BeneluxEsport @BAscendSeries @RocketBenelux @ESLBenelux @OWbenelux

@KenAijmNight You literally compound social interest over time. Communities start somewhere, and if there is room to grow it will happen gradually. Once there is a stable base, then investment can help push it further beyond.
It takes proper coordination and dedication to long-term success.
English

@KenAijmNight Precisely, continuity should be the goal to achieve lasting success. There is a lot of potential, but it needs to be built up slowly over time and have a platform to stand on. Additionally, a central platform can also centralize investment incentives, shows where eyeballs are.

If @AuroraCS2_GG want to take their CS division seriously, they have to go international and there is no better place to start than with @ashhhcs
Every other top org has a premier coach, and Aurora look thoughtless in every game. Get Gizmy, Tauson and Ashhh, and you are back in.

@ynoTCS2 Surely the next move will be for a competent IGL. Surely, right?
English

@Thorin Especially if the loan on kacpersky expires and is sold off to a different org. Could be a win-win
English

If I'm FaZe, NAVI or G2 surely I'm considering gambling on NertZ if the buyout is reasonable.

@ArmipotentCS @readtldr Deko… that’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.
On the subject, Farlig don’t think his Astralis “era” was enough to call his career a success.
and maybe Cromen. Stood in once for faze and was a decent to good player before that and fully fell off after.
English

@bjornt1_ @readtldr Definitely worth a mention, while on the CR4ZY train you could add SHiPZ and SENSEi to that list as well. But the latter of course created their own demise.
Which reminds me, two additional top contenders for this category are Gokushima and deko. Both could have been great.
English

@ArmipotentCS @readtldr If u talk EspiranTo, you could also say OttoND. Very unappreciated in my memory atleast. Good T2 awper that never really did anything after Cr4zy/C0ntact gaming....
English

@kafingterard @lotusphxd @readtldr He is/was one of the most mechanically gifted players in his time, but he was toxic in-game and didn't have a winning mentality ('didn't care' about success because of his affluent background). He left for the army and hasn't found the same level of talent since. Hope he does.
English

@ArmipotentCS @lotusphxd @readtldr genuine question: how was it entirely espirantos fault? did he just not perform well enough to be picked up by a better team?
English

@teddcs_ One cannot argue the likes of broky, hallzerk, ultimate, and sunpayus deserve to keep underperforming because of a weak environment when upcoming stars actively show the opposite. They sit in fear worrying the next pickup can't adapt the same way their current pieces don't.
English

@teddcs_ To touch on JBOEN, there is a good number of AWPers that could outperform a lot of the stable base we find in T1/T2. I find orgs are lackadaisacal towards AWPers hiding behind their "AWPing in CS2 is weak", staying complacent while Jorko, kashl1d, JBOEN, mhL and gr1ks shine in T2
English

Surprised flouzer & JBOEN have not been poached by higher level teams already. Both of them have been excellent on Nuclear Tigers & BIG Academy over the last couple of months.
We'll get to watch them at the IEM Rio 2026 CQ in a couple of days tho - will be interesting how they can do against some bigger names
English

@lotusphxd @readtldr Well the latter two are direct examples of *failed* wonderkids. They were hoisted up high but couldn't stick the landing.
I hope oBo is doing well, I wouldn't call his situation a shot in the leg, just ultimate misfortune.
EspiranTo's failing was entirely his own fault though.
English

@ArmipotentCS @readtldr Espiranto, leaf and xeppa got unlucky with the scene and couldnt find a real team
Obo shot himself in the leg
Not sure how you snuck in nivera and bymas… one got in vitality and got zywoo as his teammates, the other got given chances in faze and mouz and flopped..
