I still don’t think Liverpool will sack Arne Slot but if they do, and if Xabi Alonso is at Chelsea, who is the best, realistic option to take over at Anfield?

@Red_Scouser1892 Agreed. The worry is a disconnect at the top. Hughes potentially off. Edward’s maybe too and of next season. FSG not connected enough. That’s my worry. Decision making is compromised.

No problem if you want Slot out but some of the things I’ve seen him called is outrageous. The fella brought us a league title.

All blame should really be directed at Hughes and Edward’s. They are making the decision to retain Slot, he will just keep working until told otherwise, and they blew £400m whilst leaving the squad desperately short of what was needed. They should be sacked first.

I actually fucking hate him. But I hate Edward’s and Hughes more for ruining the summer and next sext season by allowing him to continue.
