I can't even imagine the chain of events that lead to it looking like that. this isn't some no name series, or a direct to video release made in a few months. It's accomplished with a giant chain of yes men, choice by choice, over the course of YEARS. It boggles the mind.

@CityOnFireNews An all time classic! Wished the John Wick series would have also took inspiration from its storytelling instead of just the action scenes. However, no denying The Man from Nowhere is in a league few action movies will ever aspire to reach.

@kickassvargas I'm optimistic. I wasn't expecting this turn of events, but I think it's the fresh approach that the Bond series needs post the Craig-era. Villeneuve has demonstrated multiple times of being capable of handling blockbuster without sacrificing his artistic flare.

Didn't expect to go the theaters as much as I did this year. I have enjoyed a majority of the films I've seen. Wasn't expecting The How To Train Your Dragon remake to be the worst movie I've seen this year (so far), or for multiple films to be worse than A Minecraft Movie.

Awful take in comparing a singular (at this moment) remake film to a 78 episode animated series. In both the animated film, and live action remake the climax is the only time Astrid needed saving. Nothing was improved! Characters were made worse in the live action remake though.

i loved that change in the live action. I don’t like how, in HTTYD, the writers often make astrid a “damsel in distress” and hiccup has to save her over and over (especially in RTTE) so seeing her with more agency honestly healed my soul.

the best actions have almost no story (the raid 1 & 2), old hong kong movies from '70s have orrible stories, mission impossible is the same stuff over and over again you watch it for action and the stunt (then you have a heat or a fury road, but that's a divine gift)
