The web has become such an awful place to try and consume content. I understand sites need revenue but there must be something better than this.

Not quite sure how they manage it but @google assistant gets even worse. The shopping list functionality that worked well has been replaced. Existing lists deleted with nothing migrated and no access to the same list between devices.
