@learning_yohei Yes, gators do end up in pools. They also can climb fences so they dont help much. Typically only happens if live on/near a pond

Buying a house where I live now will never happen. I've looked at relocating, but in order to find a place I could afford i would need to live 1.5-2 hrs from work. Finding work closer to home would mean massive salary loss, making house unaffordable.

@BjorkBrodern Already this year i have spent multiple days hunting and fishing with 0 climate controls. I sit in blinds and tree stands if it's below freezing or over 90 with nothing but clothes. But I also understand needing an enclosed heated hut when ice fishing in sub 0 temps

America has arguable the best scenery in the world but it's completely wasted on people who take their Air Controlled car to the beach, invented the climate controlled fishing hut and need a climate controlled luxury deer blind for hunting. Outdoor sports and hobbies are just as popular in Europe on the average and more popular in the Nordics but Americans spend more money on outdoor sports because if they aren't comfortable they aren't going. It's like the meme with the wolf who is fed by stone age people and end up as a pug. Europe sent the best and most adventurous of their people to America and now they won't step outside if its +26°C. Except for my American mutuals and followers of course.

@realcountlustig also makes a huge difference when flights between european countries are casually under $200, while a flight from FL to the UK is a minimum $1,000
