Canada's population grew by 81,000 annually as of Q3. The number of asylum claimants in the country grew by 75,000 over the same period. Now more than tripled in the past 3 yrs We are basically seeing NO POPULATION GROWTH outside of asylum seekers @LenaMetlegeDiab fix this!

Canada's population decreased by 76,068 people (-0.2%) over the third quarter of 2025. This brings an end to one of the dumbest and most reckless economic policy decisions in Canadian history.
Having ZERO immigration is also dumb, by the by.

@ArthurSerkis I spoke to Jeremy. Yes he raved about the new $BTE. He has yet to adjust his target price until he speaks with the company. My guess he will be >$5. Mine would be $6.50 to start.

I see significantly more upside on $BTE. Now every analyst will release glowing comments, focus on their very strong Alberta Clearwater and Duvernay assets and materially increase their $BTE target prices.

The Federal budget proposes to eliminate the UHT (Underutilized housing tax) as of the 2025 calendar year. The UHT was introduced Jan. 1, 2022 and was costing nearly as much to administer than the actual tax revenues brought in.
