@SGTBlairTV Yes. Not only that, there is a forge scripting bug that crashes the game on windows that is just straight up non-existent on linux. It is amazing!

@TheRedGear To this point, some of us cannot reasonably play the game because it is broken. The game is unplayable in Australia, and being on the west coast, playing on NA servers is unreasonable. I would love to have played more Halo Infinite but nearly every time I try MM times out.

🧵4: Some Forgers with maps in Matchmaking don’t have any Matchmaking playtime at all. That’s a choice to create instead of play. Again, you should be compensated with XP for Forging, but you should also be playing the game like the rest of the population if you want Max Rank.

@lastchalice Still barely playable outside NA and the UI is still a mess. Fix those 2 things and it would be 8/10. Without that its like a 4/10 for me

What if… Halo Studios changed some of the weather for certain levels in the Halo CE remake? Like what if the Silent Cartographer had a dark and gloomy sky? Or Assault on the Control Room was actually more of a blizzard? Maybe even a rainy and somber Maw?

@lastchalice The conversation died down because we were seeing if infinites take on sprint was actually any good. The question didn't take long to become “if the way to fix sprint in Halo is to minimise its effectiveness then why even have it at all?”

I remember when the first Halo Infinite flight test dropped and everyone tried out that games version of sprint. It seemed unanimous that it was such a marginal difference in speed people didn’t really mind it and then the conversation died down. Am I misremembering this?

During an interview last week, Joseph Staten revealed that Halo Infinite’s development team size was between 800-900 developers! This only includes 343 Industries employees, not external support studios. #HaloInfinite

Halo Infinite not having server select is horrible for competitive integrity, here’s why: Scenario 1 — South Central Server Team A pings: 10 ms 10 ms 10 ms 10 ms Total: 40 ms Team B pings: 80 ms 60 ms 40 ms 40 ms Total: 220 ms Scenario 2 — North Central Server Team A pings: 25 ms 25 ms 25 ms 25 ms Total: 100 ms Team B pings: 40 ms 30 ms 30 ms 50 ms Total: 150 ms This is a real example. The game chooses Scenario 1 for some unknown reason. Scenario 2 is clearly the more competitively balanced ping for both teams. With many pros moving to Texas for a competitive advantage online, the next Halo game having server select is very important for competitive integrity. Other games have it, there is no excuse. Ping plays a big factor in online Halo and shouldn't be ignored.
