To recap a fantastic weekend… - we raised 500 dollars for @GamersOutreach - We won the Impact Creator Award with @HaloRespawn - @HOIDA247 gifted me a wearable Liberator Helmet - Played Halo Campaign Evolved - Closed out the Halo Infinite chapter of HCS And most importantly… I got a chance to see all my incredible friends & hang with the best & most talented Community on the planet. Having worked at GameStop, I can say these are just promotional display cases for "upcoming" games. It doesn't mean preorders are live or that the release is happening soon. It’s mainly a marketing tactic designed to generate interest for preordering the game.

Another note, these covers are not issued by the game studios. GameStop puts these on the floor themselves for the sake of encouraging people to preorder with them when they're given the go ahead to do so.

Alternatively, this is a GREAT time to learn Streamer.bot. Yeah, it’s intimidating at first, but if you’re serious about streaming and owning your setup long-term, it’s probably the most important tool you can learn right now.

If StreamElements is really in trouble, @Twitch should step in immediately & incorporate their overlay tech into their native Twitch Alerts system. It'd be a shame to lose StreamElements tools & be forced to settle for lesser alternatives (cough... StreamLabs).

@Level_Photo I ended up building fully customizable transitions directly in OBS using this shader along with the Scene as Transition plugin. No more relying on video files. Everything is rendered natively in OBS and controlled through OBS Raw executes in StreamerBot.
